This week, Friday Nights at NOMA will feature the New Orleans Museum of Art staying open until midnight for live music, programs, and more to commemorate Louisiana arts, culture, and entertainment. Food from Theo’s Neighborhood Pizza and Crepes a la Cart will be available for purchase until midnight, and Cafe NOMA will be open as well.
Friday nights at NOMA is located at One Collins Diboll Circle. Standard NOMA admission applies: $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $6 for children ages 7-17.
The schedule for this week’s Friday Nights at NOMA is as follows:
5-8 p.m.: Music by Amanda Shaw
5-10 p.m.: Art on the Spot
6 p.m.: Lecture:by Howard Sutcliffe, Principal Conservator, River Region Costume and Textile Conservation: “Conservation of the Butler Greenwood parlor at the New Orleans Museum of Art”
8 p.m.: A Louisiana Parlor Gallery Talk with Mel Buchanan and Howard Sutcliffe
8:30-11:30 p.m.: Music by Michot’s Melody Makers
9:30 p.m.: Gallery Talk with Dawn DeDeaux and Russell Lord: “Louisiana Landscapes”
9:30 p.m.: Film: Hush… Hush, Sweet Charlotte (1964, starring Bette Davis)
10:30 p.m.: Louisiana Tour with The New Movement
